Wildlife Sites in Rushcliffe

Wilford Clay Pits

How to get there:

Access is from Landmere Lane at the side of the Apple Tree pub or Compton Acres around the corner. It's just a stone's throw from Wilwell Farm Cutting. This reserve is much larger than it at first appears and is well worth a thorough exploration. Along with Wilwell Farm Cutting, this pair of sites are undoubtedly the most interesting sites for botany and entomology in the borough.
