Stanford Park

How to get there:

There is no public access to the park as the as the hall and land is now a MoD rehabilitation centre.

Information

The site consists of 113 hectares of late 18th century parkland with mature trees and a lake with the listed Stanford Hall, originally commissioned in the 1770's at its heart. The mature trees are a key feature of its wildlife interest and two very large bat houses have been built as mitigation for the extensive improvements undertaken by the MoD. The lake attracts ducks and egrets.
