How to get there
Via the footpath from Peveril Drive or from the Wheatcroft garden centre. An alternative is off the A52 between the Nottingham Knight and Wheatcroft islands. I've never tried this but it looks highly dangerous! See plan below.

9.6ha of Oak-Ash woodland which developed a friends group in response to the threat of housing developments and which is now a nature reserve and Local Wildlife Site.
