Rushcliffe Country Park

How to get there:

Turn off the A60 at the island south of Ruddington and follow the road to another small island. Turn right into the carpark which has a voluntary pay and display policy.
The key interest to naturalists are the lake and the species rich grassland which hosts a variety of day-flying moths including Mother Shipton and Grass Rivulet. Also the very rare (Nb) moth, Waved Black occurs near the visitor centre.
